Yesterday, all of Middle School went on a fantastic trip! We took a bus, train and tube to North Greenwich where we boarded the wonderful cable cars.
The trip across the river took about 10 minutes and we saw some fabulous views of London. We saw a jet fly overhead and land at City Airport, some Police speed boats zooming along the river and lots of skyscrapers. What else did you see?
After lunch and a play in the park, we got back on the cable cars to head home. It was a lovely sunny day and we were all happy but exhausted by the time we returned to school.
For your homework this week, we have asked you to create a picture of the view you saw from the cable car. You might want to draw your picture, paint it, make a collage or a model, or use your computer to make a picture. If you have another idea, you're welcome to try it- you can create your picture however you like!
