I got them
two days ago and one of the eggs is nearly white. They live in a box with a
net in it. They have mushy green food and they don’t do much because they are
still eggs.
I will
report back next week. They should hatch in about 10-28 days.

Dictated by Joseph..typed by mum as it was very late.
I thought they would hatch in about ten days but they hatched today. Why? It must have been because it was warm. The eggs are 1mm in size. I have a photo to show next week. The started being black and then went grey and then you could see the empty shell with a minute looking caterpillar appearing and starting to eat the green mush we have been given. It is in fact mulberry leaves and smells really revolting. ( I think the mush looks like Davy Jones tentacles from Pirates of the Caribbean ) They eat really slowly because they are just babies. As they grow the instructions say they will become 'eating machines' I can't wait to show you the photo. Mum loves these things too!
over the weekend they grown bigger and are about 5mm...mum says that they have grown 500% bigger in just a few days.....It is quite difficult to get the mushy mulberries out of the pot in an amount that wont be considered a mountain of food by the silk worms......some have died....... but we have about ten left..
