Have you played our new game?
We have been learning what verbs, adverbs, adjectives and nouns are.
Remember:
Verbs are DOING words. Eg. walking.
Adverbs tell us HOW something is done (they often end in -ly). Eg. slowly.
Nouns are things, people or places. Eg. table.
Adjectives are DESCRIBING words. Eg. beautiful.
Can you suggest a verb, adverb, noun or adjective to add to a tree in our grammar forest?
You must tell me which type of word it is! For example; noun = book.
