Winter Wonderland!

Christmas is in full swing in St. Clare's Class! We have made some beautiful Christmas cards, produced and costed fabulous decorations and we have made Advent promises.

Yesterday, we had a delicious Christmas lunch. Today we had a super Christmas party (with thanks to everyone who brought in food and drink!) followed by a beautiful afternoon at St. Thomas More Church. We all sang lots of lovely carols, listened to the Bible readings and watched the children from Reception perform the Nativity scenes brilliantly.

Tomorrow, we will have our CARE assembly in the morning. It will be Toy Day tomorrow- you can bring in a small, non-valuable toy to play with. Make sure you bring in something that you are happy to share with others; nothing electronic or battery powered please.

Remember you will also need a carrier bag tomorrow- there will be lots of bits to take home!

Congratulations St. Clare's Class on a fantastic assembly! You all performed brilliantly today and we were very proud of you! We had lots of lovely comments from children, visitors and the other teachers; they all thought it was an excellent assembly and they were very impressed by your acting talents. Well done!

Thank you to all of the parents and carers who came to support the children. We hope you enjoyed it!
